Organize an Unforgettable Family Reunion in an Extraordinary Place
Reunite, share, and pass things on. Organizing a family reunion is much more than a simple weekend together — it’s about creating shared memories and nurturing bonds across generations. But it all starts with finding the right place: warm, spacious, practical... and above all, with soul. At Pierres d’Histoire, we designed our houses as sanctuaries for large family gatherings.
Why Choose Pierres d’Histoire for a Family Reunion?
Our houses are neither standardized rentals nor impersonal hotels. They are character-filled homes, carefully restored to capture the spirit of a family residence — but more elegant and comfortable.
Spacious venues: with multiple bedrooms, shared spaces, and outdoor areas designed for group living.
Flexible layouts: main houses + guest houses, ideal for distributing families, cousins, and grandparents.
Facilities made for togetherness: large kitchens, living rooms, enclosed gardens, barbecues, and board games.
Inspiring surroundings: historic architecture, nature, and heritage — for a weekend that truly means something.

🏡 Maisons de la Marcotte (Essonne)
Just 45 minutes from Paris, La Marcotte consists of a large main house, an annex, and a cottage surrounding a private garden. It’s the ideal setting to accommodate several family groups while preserving moments of privacy. The enclosed garden, barbecue, and large dining table make it perfect for joyful reunions. Not to mention its heated outdoor pool, open from May to September.

🌳 Domaine de Richebourg (Yvelines)
Just one hour from Paris, this estate nestled in a 3-hectare park crossed by a river is perfect for bringing together all generations. Its 11 houses offer 23 bedrooms, plus convertible sofas, cozy living rooms, fully equipped kitchens, and a magical setting for strolling or playing outdoors. The renovated barn, turned into a reception hall, can host up to 80 guests. Firepits, a pétanque court, relaxation areas, a multi-sport field, and a heated pool (open from May to September) add to the estate’s charm. You can feel the soul of a family home at the heart of preserved nature.

🌊 Domaine de Ravenoville (Normandy)
For a seaside reunion, head to the Cotentin Peninsula. The Domaine de Ravenoville is composed of five houses in a majestic setting around the ruins of an old castle, just two kilometers from the sea. Older children ride bikes to the beach, the little ones play in the enclosed garden, and the adults gather around a seafood platter… A true holiday spirit fills the reunion.

⛰️ Chalet L’Harmonie (Serre-Chevalier, Alps)
For a winter or mountain reunion, this large chalet can host up to 14 people, with six bedrooms, a spacious living room, and a convivial dining area. After a day outdoors or on the slopes, everyone gathers around the warmth of the wood interior, board games, and shared meals.
Practical Tips for a Successful Family Reunion
Set a date in advance: long weekends work well.
Make a simple schedule: shared meals, activities, free time, family photos...
Assign rooms beforehand: based on families, ages, and needs.
Plan a big dining table: each house is equipped for group meals.
